WHAT’S HAPPENING: Roller derby is a full-contact sport and the action on the track is fast, so sometimes things can get confusing! Check out our About Roller Derby page for more info. On game day, we’ll help you follow along with information in your program and insightful commentary from our knowledgeable announcers.

FAN ACCESS: One of the best things about roller derby is how accessible the athletes are – roller derby players really love talking to our fans! Please feel free to flag us down when you see us roll past. We’ll sign autographs and pose for photos – we will entertain most reasonable requests! We strive to make our games kid-friendly, and we love to see your little skater tots cheering in the stands! Children 7 and under are always admitted free.

CODE OF CONDUCT: Weapons, non-service animals, megaphones, whistles, or other items deemed inappropriate, harmful, or hazardous by staff are prohibited. No banners or signs that obstruct the view of guests, contain objectionable subject matter, or are commercial in nature. No clothing with slurs or content that suggests or condones harassment, discrimination, or abuse. No smoking near the building entrances. Professional video cameras, still photography, and audio recorders require prior authorization. No one under 18 in trackside seating. We ask that all participants, including fans, follow the WFTDA Code of Conduct. COVID-19 PROTOCOL

For the protection of Ohio Roller Derby athletes, officials, volunteers, and fans, we have set the following COVID-19 safety measures for our 2024 games:

  • Masking: at this time, masks are optional. Additionally, upon request, there may be a masks-required seating area for spectators who prefer that option.
  • Illness: if you have purchased a ticket and have COVID symptoms or test positive leading up to the game, please do not attend. Your ticket can be transferred to a future date by contacting tickets@ohiorollerderby.com prior to the game!

Ohio Roller Derby references COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC, Franklin County, and the Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby Association. OHRD reserves the right to change or add additional safety protocols at our discretion. Attendees will be informed of any changes to requirements before the event via our website, email, and ticket links. All attendees must be ready to comply or forfeit their ticket. Thank you for your cooperation and collaboration as we do our best to have a safe and fun event!
